Why Multi level Marketing Sponsoring Is Thought To Be Difficult?

July 31st, 2009
Comments Off

“Do I need to know and recruit a lot of people to be successful in MLM?” is a commonly asked question.

The common reponse from most upline sponsors goes something like the following…

“No, you can create a great residual income and become very successful in Multi Level Marketing by sponsoring just one person every month or two.

They go on to say that the people you sponsor do not have to be from the group of people you already know (commonly called your warn market).  They tell you to think about how many people you converse with in your everyday activities!

But then they turn around and tell you to jot down a list of everyone you know, even from a casual relationship.  They say to list everyone you can think of for example, people you work with, go to church with, people you do business with, people you went to school with, people you knew before you moved to your present location, etc. and you will be amazed by the number of people that end up on your list.

Will all or even most of these people join you in your MLM business? Probably not, but statistics show that one out of every one hundred names will make your car payment, one will make your house payment and one will retire you!

That’s not so bad really.  Three out of every one hundred is achievable, but you have to make the contacts.  As the saying goes, “the more you tell, the more you sell.”  Additionally, all the people on your contact list know other people and although they might not be interested themselves, they may refer your to other people who will be interested.

Have you ever been turned down 97 times?  That is a lot of rejection.  And initially these rejections come from people you know, so the rejection is even harder.  Most people will not last that long.

How many people do you know who can go out and face 100 people they know and get rejected by 97 of them and just continue to keep plugging along trying to recruit or sell products to an disinterested market?

If you are lucky enough to sponsor someone who is currently a seccessful multi level marketer with all the right skills, who brings along his established downline with him and becomes a “heavy hitter” in your company, then technically the answer given above is correct.  If your company’s compensation plan is supportive, then that single recruit may be able to carry you along.

It is extremely unlikely that you will be able to land a “heavy hitter” who can quickly go out and develop a significant downline beneith you if you are only recruiting “one person every month or two.”

This problem is discussed in detail along with 6 other problem areas in the downloadable free report, The 7 Great Lies of Network Marketing.

So what should you do if you don’t want to face massive rejection and you are not going to be lucky enough to land a “heavy hitter” early on in your MLM career?

If you don’t want to be a member of the NFL (No Friends Left) club, then I would suggest not pursuing your friends and family, everyone you know, or anyone within 30 feet as some sponsors instruct you to.  No matter what they say, everyone is not your market.  Instead your target market is people who are specifically interested in starting a home-based business, earning extra money, are already members of some Network Marketing company or are interested joining a Network Marketing program.  Now the solution is to get them to come to you and then, using a soft sell approach instead of the traditional hard sell, sponsor them into your business.

OK, so just how do I go about accomplishing that?”, you ask.

You accomplish this by first offering your target market a funded proposal or free report relevant to your market and developing a mailing or contact list from the funded proposal sales process.  You then develop a positive relationship with your list members through frequent contact and by providing them useful information.

If you have correctly identified your market, prospects will soon be calling you for guidance and asking how they can join your team.  So after you have read The 7 Great Lies of Network Marketing free report and then be sure to go on to discover the secrets of effective MLM Recruiting methods made available with the use of Internet Network Marketing.

Spain Outdoor Pool Fencing Guide

July 31st, 2009
Comments Off

The First Layer of Protection for a pool in Spain ( Vallas para piscinas ): No one thing can make a pool safe at all times. Multiple layers of protection are necessary to address the specific risks present when the pool is in use and when it is not. For outdoor pools the first and most basic item of protection is an adequate and secure fence ( valla piscina ) that will both prevent access when the pool is closed and unattended and control access when the pool is open and being supervised. Requirements for pool fences ( vallas piscinas ) construction vary by locale; some local jurisdictions have stricter requirements than others so you should check with local agencies (city or county board of health, building department, etc.) for specific public pool requirements in your immediate area.

Height: Though some jurisdictions permit fences as low as four feet tall, prudency requires at least five, preferably six feet of protection. There are some jurisdictions that require fences eight and even 10 feet tall around outdoor pools.

Construction: Spacing between vertical elements should not exceed four inches both to prevent access and to meet fencing codes aimed at preventing head entrapment that do not allow openings between four and ten inches. The horizontal space between elements (and the size of chain link or lattice openings) has been reduced to 1.25” in many jurisdictions to prevent climbing . Fence materials should be durable, low maintenance, and reasonably priced.

Gates, Doors, and Locks: Gates should be limited in number (but enough to meet life safety codes). They should be self-closing with self-latching locks that are sufficiently high to prevent small children from opening them. All gates should be positioned such that they can be easily observed by lifeguards or other safety staff. They should be actively monitored or controlled by security hardware while the pool is open and locked while the pool is closed.

Doors into an adjacent building should have self-closing hardware; doors from an adjacent building should allow access only to deck areas that are easily monitored by the on-duty lifeguard; they should be locked when the pool is closed and unguarded. All other gates or doors (e.g., to pool chemical or other service areas) should be locked and closed except when being actively used.

Other Considerations: Accessibility: All pool areas should be protected from unauthorized access by children. However, they should be accessible to all authorized adult users, including those with disabilities. Because the height of an adult in a wheel chair is very similar to the height of a child, child-resistant latches should be used – i.e., latches that require strength or agility beyond that of small children.

Wading Pools: Wading pools should be separated by fencing that prevents small children from having easy access to a deeper pool. If the wading pool is within the perimeter of the taller pool-area fencing, the minimum recommended height for the wading pool fence is four feet (48 inches). Gates into the wading pool area must be self-closing and self-latching. In facilities having multiple types of pools or spas it is advisable to separate (or have the capability of separating) each pool.

Additional Security: Open pools should have the protection of well trained, vigilantly scanning lifeguards. Closed pools should have one or more of the following security measures:
• signs – Pool Closed or No Trespassing
• storage – any storage should be kept away from the fence so it cannot be used as a climbing aid
• motion-activated lighting
• security cameras – monitored or recording
• pool alarms or sonic monitoring – to activate private or public emergency response
• pool and/or spa covers – should be locked to make the pool completely inaccessible
• private security surveillance (i.e., guard service)

Yes, you can watch dvds on your iPod

July 30th, 2009
Comments Off

If you’ve owned an iPod for very long, you have probably learned that you can’t watch dvds on it right out of the box. Apple doesn’t provide the software for this, so you need to get a dvd to iPod converter from a third party. There are several out there, but not all of them are worth the cost, or worth the hassle associated with some of the free software.

After testing several dvd to iPod software programs, it was clear that the Cucusoft Ultimate DVD Converter was the best bang for the buck. Not only does it allow you to watch your dvds on every iPod video player, it also converts dvds to the Microsoft Zune, the Apple iPhone, the Sony PSP, video capable mp3 players, and video capable mobile phones, and much more. There are dvd to iPod converters that only convert to iPod, but the Cucusoft Ultimate converter converts to most any player out there. Since most people own more than kind of player, it makes sense to get a converter that works with all of them instead of buying a separate converter for each, doesn’t it?

To convert dvds to iPod fast and without errors, Cucusoft worked best for me. It works with most every player out there, and is compatible with all versions of Windows. It does not work with Macs. You’ll have to get a different program specifically designed work with Macs. The software is very user friendly, and the new “1 Click Mode” makes it so simple, anyone can use it. And, unlike most other similar software programs, you don’t have to convert to avi first. Cucusoft converts dvds directly into iPod format.

Secrets of A Balloon Arch Sculptor

July 30th, 2009
Comments Off

Introduction

No matter what the type of event, the use of balloons always brings colour and decoration to the venue or room. Whether it is a special event, such as a birthday celebration, wedding anniversary, corporate event or even a dinner function, the addition of balloons will make an impact. The party hosts or organisers of the event may wish to create a wow factor for the guests attending. There are so many different events and organisers want to create that wow factor to ensure that it is their event that is to be remembered. There are other ‘wow’ ideas such as ice sculptures or huge displays of flowers or drapes of fabric, all of which create an impression that the guests will remember. To really make an impression, one novel idea is to make a Balloon Arch or Balloon sculpture. Balloons, in their various bright colours can be used to form decorative and impressive looking displays. The eye-catching strucures will make an colourful impact at any event. Balloon arches will compliment many events, whether it is a birthday, wedding, dinner or a special celebration. Many companies host conferences for their employees or events such as award dinners or other events where the balloon arch will also look fantastic.

I am actually involved in a junior football club and at the end of each season, the Club hosts a presentation event for all the players who range from 7 years of age through to 18, and their parents. The club colours are blue and white and we have decked out the venue with blue and white balloons in the past to great effect.

Most of us, myself included will blow up the token dozen or so balloons for my own children’s birthday parties at home. Well, it is only the family coming round after all! So, unless you really have the knack for creating balloon arches or sculptures, and let’s be honest many of us do not, it would make sense to employ a company who is professional in creating a balloon arch or sculpture. Professional balloon decorators can be employed to create an eye catching arch. The decorators will from experience have an eye in selecting the right choice of colour or combination of colours to create a stunning effect. The varied selection of many balloon colours means that the colour coordination options are endless. Balloons area available in basic colours, with pearl shine or metallic finishes, which when combined creatively, will add to any venue, decor or room you have chosen. Whether the room is large or small, the effect will be stunning.

The big advantage of using professional balloon party decorators of course is that they almost instinctively know how to build a balloon arch. It is important to measure the precise amount of helium to be used in each balloon to achieve the perfect size for the desired results. Electronic monitoring equipment is used to achieve the correct levels of helium. Too much and all the balloons would drift off to the ceiling.

Children always love to take a balloon home from the party.

So you want to become a balloon sculptor to create a balloon arch for your own celebration? Well it’s not as difficult as you may think. Like anything, as long you buy the right materials, have a little patience and perhaps an eye for creativity, then by following some step by step instructions, you have every chance of making a successful balloon arch. So, here we go. How to create a Balloon Arch.

What Materials do I need?

A number of Latex Balloons. How many exactly will depend on the size of the arch required, Nylon Line, similar to that used as fishing line. Two weights to hold the balloons down, a Balloon Sizer to measure the size of each balloon, Curling Ribbon for the finishing touches, and a Helium canister to blow the balloons up. No, you don’t have to blow each balloon up with your own breath!

Step 1

Start by calculating the length of nylon line required using the formula below. Cut the line to the appropriate, length required.

• Formula to calculate the Arch length. If the arch is wider than it is tall: Height + Width = approximate total length

• If the arch height and width are about the same: (1.5 x Height) + Width = approximate total length
• If the arch is taller than it is wide: (2 x Height) + Width = approximate total length

Step 2

Tie both ends to something heavy such as the back of a chair to hold the line in position while you work.

Step 3

Fill the balloons with helium. Use the balloon sizer to ensure that the balloons are the same size. If you don’t have a balloon sizer, cut out a circular template using cardboard.

Step 4

Tie the balloons on to the line. For consistency make sure that you always approach the line from the same side.

Step 5

Allow a space of approximately 12″ between each balloon. Once the balloons are tied on, they can be gently positioned to start to form the shape you want and it will be secure on the line.

Step 6

When all the balloons have been tied on to the line, release the ends of the line from where or what you tied it to. To hold the arch in place, fix a suitable weight to either end of the arch. There are decorative weights available or wrap a heavy stone in foil for decoration. It may be helpful to have another pair of hands to help at this point.

Step 7

Now add any finishing touches to decorate the arch such as tinsel or curling ribbon which can be allowed to drape across the balloons or hang down. If for example the arch is to be used at a wedding, maybe some tulle or net could be added to create a wedding effect.

And, that’s all there is to it. It does sound easy and it is. If you are attempting a balloon arch for the first time, allow yourself a little time to build the arch. I wouldn’t have my first attempt ten minutes before the guests arrive.

I recently visited a local fete and saw several children who had let go of their helium balloon and there were heading off into the sunset.

Why should I use Helium Balloons?

Balloons that are inflated with helium gas are lighter than air. This means that the balloons will float upwards. How often do you see balloons from a party or event stuck to the ceiling? Or at the fairground, when a parent has spent £3.00 or so on a cartoon character balloon and the child lets the balloon drift up to the sky?

Good quality balloons and those used by professional balloon decorators are made from 100% biodegradable latex. This type of balloon is usually larger in size than those bought in most retail outlets. Latex balloons filled with helium generally only retain their buoyancy for a few hours. The reason being that, the helium atoms inside the balloon are smaller in size than the pores in the balloons latex body and therefore the helium atoms escape. Should you want to increase the float time of helium balloons for longer, the inside of the balloons will need to be coated with a special polymer solution to minimise the leakage of the helium.

Safety and Environmental Concerns

When you see a balloon drifting off into the distant sky, how often have you wondered how far that balloon will travel? Well, once released into the atmosphere, helium filled balloons will usually travel quite a long way before they finally burst or deflate. It is estimated that around 90/95% of balloons released will rise to an altitude of approxiamately 5 miles. At this height the dramatic fall in temperature causes the balloon to shatter into little fragments which will drift gently back to earth where they will degrade into the ground. Hence the reason that balloons are made from biodegradable latex. The latex used to manufacture balloons comes from the Hevea tree or rubber tree.

So balloons are completely biodegradable and to colour the latex non-toxic dyes are used. Through research it has been demonstrated that latex balloons degrade faster than leaves from oak trees. Oxidation occurs in the breakdown of latex and begins almost as soon as the balloon is inflated. As the balloon decays by natural exposure the nutrients contained in the latex are dispersed into the soil. Most rubber tree plantations are in South and South East Asia.

Balloon Sculptures and Arches

Hundreds of balloons may be needed for sculptures and arches. It is important to identify the space available and then calculate what is required. The height and width of the structure will be determined by the space available. Some professional balloon decorators have created some very ambitious balloon sculptures.

Balloon arches will create a lasting impression at any event. A simple single row of colourful pearl latex balloons with complementary ribbons is often the most popular choice of structure. This type of display is popular at wedding receptions and is often designed as a focal point for the couple to pass through. The single row display can be used to create a frame to outline other displays or as a photographic point.

Alternatively, this design style can be used simply to enhance a feature at the venue. To hold the arch in place, why not design a hand-made weight covered by a bow to hold the arch in place. Balloon arches don’t always have to be of a large design. A simple table decoration at special events created using smaller balloons can be just as effective. If there is a concrete pillar at the entrance to the venue, why not wrap a line of balloons around the pillar to add colour to the entrance?

Why not use a professional balloon arch designer to bring colour and decoration to your event.

Conclusion

Balloon arches will create a very effective and eye catching focal point at any celebration. The choice of balloon colours and finishing effects is unlimited , printed helium balloons and therefore the design and style of balloon arch can be achieved without the need to spend lots of money . If you can develop the arch yourself, it will just require you to purchase the materials to create the effect you desire. Balloon arches are a colourful alternative to flower displays or drapes and in most cases will be much les costly in providing a centre piece at any event. Whatever your celebration, a balloon arch will give a lasting impression and reminder of your event , whether it is a birthday, special anniversary celebration, a wedding or a corporate event, your guests will be sure to leave with a memory of a colourful and decorative display of balloons.
